In 2019, Tito’s Handmade Vodka has raised over $22,000 in funds and facilitated an additional $6,500 in donations via common partners, the equivalent of providing over 68,400 meals to the Lovin’ Spoonfuls community.
Mary Madness, an interactive Bloody Mary competition hosted at Bambara at Hotel Marlowe brought in $3,000 while sharing our mission with a new audience of food-savvy locals. $4,000 was pledged in sponsorship for our brand new community engagement event Cocktails & Community. Most impressively, $15,000 was contributed to our Boston Marathon campaign via restaurant partnerships. Tito’s Handmade Vodka worked with 18 local establishments to feature a vodka cocktail on their menus. For every specialty cocktail sold, Tito’s Handmade Vodka contributed $1 to Lovin’ Spoonfuls, and many also matched this donation, creating a surplus of funding. Some restaurants brought in upwards of 500 cocktails each, such as Alden & Harlow, Waypoint, Bisq and La Brasa.
One of our Boston Marathon team runners, Kelly Early, says “the partnership with Tito’s was such a fun way to urge my friends and family to support my marathon fundraising goal. They were very willing to visit some of their favorite restaurants and drink cocktails with an altruistic excuse to order a second round.”
Prioritizing community giving and engagement is a focus for Tito’s Handmade Vodka’s entire team and the Boston Field Marketing Manager, Jessica Knowles, explains, “At Tito’s Handmade Vodka, we believe that we’re meant to make the world a better place. Our mission is to spread love and goodness using vodka as our medium and we’re honored to work with Lovin’ Spoonfuls to help spread the love.”
Lovin’ Spoonfuls will be honoring Tito’s Handmade Vodka for their continued and enthusiastic support at Cocktails & Community, a casual cocktail party bringing our supporters together on June 26. Tickets are available to the public for $50 and include refreshing Tito’s cocktails, additional beverages, and delicious hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Hotel Commonwealth. We invite our supporters to join us for a social summer evening in their indoor/outdoor event space! Each ticker purchaser will also be entered into a drawing to win two General Admission tickets to the Ultimate Tailgate on November 3.
